Just click on Continue to Registration and you will go to the page where you have to signup and enter some info. Then in the set up page there is nothing much just filling out some information. *If the credit card in under your dad's name please don't put you name it may cause some problem later. 

BAM !! You are done Now Google will do all the things automatically. No need to worry about anything. Google will even redirect people from your old blog address to your new domain name. 

Now you can do a lot of thing with your domain name if you want to. Things like your own website e-mail,sub domain etc are all FREE !! You don't have to worry about any extra cost .
